Adam is mad as hell over this, so just for him, I'm putting the issue up here for everybody to see:

Save the Hoodie

Now go make a hoodie-wearer happy.

Seriously though, WTF?
How is outlawing Hoodies supposed to help stop crime???? How about guns? Or even ski masks in commercial areas or something, but HOODIES?

OH MY GOD I CAN'T SEE THE SIDE AND BACK OF THAT PERSON'S HEAD THEY MUST BE A CRIMINAL!!!!!

What I got out of that is they're not outlawing it...Tony Blair is supporting a pointless mall dress code, but not trying to ban it across the country.

I'm sure you can't walk into a mall wearing a ski mask or carrying a gun, either.

I do agree though, WTF?

I'm pretty sure i've been in malls in alberta wearing a ski mask w/o people freaking out. Then again that's alberta.

In all honesty it's a crappy scare tactic aimed at labelling a certain thing as "criminal behaviour" rather than looking at solving the root problems, like poverty, and inadequate (sp?) social programs.

Tony Blair needs to be given a swift kick in the nuts.

Like what a person wears has any bearing on their personality.. if a person is going to be a nasty criminal they'd be a nasty criminal in a party dress or a tutu too. (wow.. way too many too's there.. *giggle*)
I have a hoodie.. it's pink and MSVU-y .. does that count?

I'd definitely ban you from the mall if you were wearing it :S
